TJL as it is today is the result of 15 years of growth. The company began in 2008 when Tony Lumtin established TJL Business Advisors and Accountants in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire, in a modest office with one desk and one chair (no milk crates in sight, but you get the idea!). The business quickly grew to expand with Financial Planning and Insurance divisions by 2016.
TJL now has three divisions with 6 partners along this a committed team of experienced and professional staff across almost every financial field, meaning we really can help you build a better financial future.
We are a firm believers that everyone benefits when a business is thriving, and that’s why we want to help other businesses achieve everything they set out to.
We offer free seminars with guest speakers on specific topics, to educate and inform our community of any updates to accounting and business practices. We record informative videos covering topical information for all of our business divisions and we make these available on our website. We also attend Global Business Camp, which is an intensive 3-day workshop that gives us the opportunity to focus on, develop and grow our own business. We believe so strongly in the model and execution of Global Business Camp that in 2020 we gave away one GBC conference and business advisory package – valued at $5000 – to a business we fell would truly benefit from the 3-day workshop.
